Talking about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678, it is a 64 bit 8-core CPU that integrates 2 ARM Cortex-A76 Gold cores ticking at 2.20GHz and other 6 Cortex-A55 Silver cores at 1.80GHz clock speed while the MediaTek Dimensity 820 features 4 ARM Cortex-A76 Big cores operating at up to 2.60GHz clock speed and other 4 Cortex-A55 Small cores at 2.00GHz clock speed.

Here in terms of CPU processing, the MediaTek Dimensity 820 is much better than the Snapdragon 678. It also has support for 5G while the Snapdragon 678 supports up to 4G only.
